just love

Love. One word. Four Letters.

It seems so simple, but somehow we find it so hard to do. Why is it so much easier to judge other than to love? “Treat others as you would want to be treated” is supposedly the golden rule, but we rarely use it. Loving has become a difficult concept in todays society because everyone is striving to fit in instead of being themselves and it’s as if it has become a competition. It has made us selfish and judgmental because we always strive to be better than everyone else. Wouldn’t the world be a happier place if instead of bringing others down we lifted them up with love? Love makes the world go ’round, and I believe if you love you can make anyone’s day. Instead of knocking others down to make yourself feel better show love, and you will feel better by spreading positive words.

We are called to love above all else. No matter what. No exceptions. It doesn’t matter if you  agree with everything they do because we all make mistakes. Be an example of Christ everywhere you go and love everyone, because with love anything is possible. You never know what a few kind words can do for someone who is going through a hard time.

God gave his one and only son for us. Jesus died on the cross for our son. So what else can we do than to love him and his children? It is the least we can do for all He has given for us. Love is contagious, so spread it. Christ is love, so to be a continuos representation of Him we need to show love.

What will you accomplish with love today?

1 Corinthians 13:3 If I give all I have to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

Thank you so much for reading! I will see you Monday (:
